MENS WEAR

Calvin Kein Fall 2013

Calvin Klein has been one of my favourite designers, and not for its women's clothes, but for the way Zucchelli knows exactly how to dress a man. He clarifies how fundamental tailoring is to an outfit, and emphasises the importance of minimalism when preparing an outfit. The fall 2013 mens collection for CK is so in touch with the labels iconic status of masculine sportswear with a classic twist. One simple jumper is tailored enough to dress up, or pair with jeans to simply wear on a morning stroll. In my opinion, you most certainly don't have to only be gay to be wearing this, I love a man wearing Calvin Klein.

The collection infuses the modern futuristic trend we see hitting the catwalks lately, taking simple textures and prints like herringbone and houndstooth, mixing them with staples of a gentleman's wardrobe and somehow mixed them together to create a fine collection.

One of my favourite things about designer Zucchelli is how he can take something as simple as a sweatshirt or a utility jacket, and masters them into being a sci-fi fashion statement.

Calvin Klein has done it again for another season.
