MAXIMUM MINIMUM

OOOOOOW dont get me wrong i do love summer, but i cannot wait for winter fashion to come back into action. I have been admiring the clean effortless looks floating around the world of fashion as of late, especially in Australian Fashion week where designers such as Alice McCall, Camilla & Marc and even Sass n Bide are getting on the pastels band wagon and focussing more on softer tones for the upcomming season of autum. I recently went in for an interview for a possible job as a stylist for Westfield Marion and a question i was asked in the interview was 'what do i believe are going to be some of the key trends for winter 2011.' So ladies, sit tightly for my answer.

WINTER 2011 WILL BE THE YEAR OF:

-Mushroom Nail Polish
-Swede ankle boots
-High-waisted silk skinny leg pants (check out Wayne Cooper for an awesome pair, i bought some from Wayne Cooper in the Melbourne GPO building yesterday)
- Oversized Knits (including oversized woolen scarves, jumpers and cardigans)
