MBFW '13': CHRISTOPHER ESBER

It was a showcase like no other. Feminine frocks with following silk, and loosely structures suiting certainly put a twist on traditional 1950s femininity. 

Fabrics included natural fibbers with raw edges, such as sheer tartan playing into the world-wide grunge trend. 
"I've always liked crystals, but it's about finding a way that's making them new," Esber told Vogue magazine. 

"For me, it's pairing them with raw, handwoven silks, and sewing them on in an irregular pattern." Esber said, with reference to the collections iconic crystal-tinged cropped black pants.
